The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Lebanon is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Advanced Athlete Taekwondo Training Program in Korea, a four-day intensive training program held for outstanding Lebanese Taekwondo students and athletes.
The training was conducted in collaboration with the Dongmyeong Unit of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces, the World Taekwondo HQ “Kukkiwon”, Korea middle and High school Taekwondo Federation, Poongsaeng Middle and High School and the National Defense Combat Taekwondo research institute and the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation.
The training brought together selected athletes from the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation and Lebanese universities, providing them with a unique opportunity to train at the highest international level.
Conducted in the Republic of Korea, the four-day intensive program offered advanced technical and practical training under the supervision of leading masters and instructors. The training focused on physical conditioning and competition strategies.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea emphasized that this initiative reflects its continued commitment to promoting sports diplomacy and strengthening cultural and people-to-people ties between Korea and Lebanon. The collaboration with Kukkiwon highlights Korea’s dedication to sharing its expertise and supporting the development of taekwondo worldwide. Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Lebanon, H.E Gyusuk Geon also promised to prepare more Taekwondo camp programs in the future and to work to provide opportunities for excellent Lebanese Students.
The Embassy congratulates all participating athletes on their successful completion of the program and expresses confidence that the skills and experience gained will positively contribute to their future athletic careers and to the advancement of Taekwondo in Lebanon.
